Drug Addiction Intervention: When The Addict Isn’t Ready To Go

When an addict isn’t ready to go to drug addiction rehab you can put together a drug addiction intervention but that doesn’t mean they’ll go. It’s a good idea if you see a friend or family member or loved one that’s suffering from a drug or alcohol problem to talk to them about their addiction problem. Chances are just talking to an addict one-on-one will not get them into rehab, however putting together a drug addiction intervention should be the next step. If that doesn’t work you cannot feel like you failed the addict. You need to understand that addiction is difficult. Addict’s don’t always get help they second they are told they need it.
