Dr. Sonnee Weedn, PhD is a clinical and forensic psychologist with 31 years of experience. Dr. Weedn has performed over 350 psychological assessments for adults being treated for chemical dependency in inpatient settings. She has a successful private practice in Novato, California.


Topic Objectives:

1) Discuss the utility of a detailed psychological evaluation in the treatment of chemical dependency   2) Describe the different parts of the evaluation and the meaning and utility of each  3) Utilize a psychological assessment to create/modify a treatment plan  4) Determine the need for further assessment based on the first findings  5) Discuss the efficacy of sharing the assessment results with the patient
